Angie Rubi

Consultant/Vuna Coffee School Coach

Angie started her coffee career in 2018 as a Food Agribusiness Engineer and joined the family business as coffee producers. Since then, together with her sisters, they have opened new markets with the export of specialty coffees to United States and Asia.

Angie acquired her master's degree in Science and Economics of Coffee- Ernesto Illy in 2020. The knowledge provides the business an added value to promote the commercialization of roasted coffee nationwide in Honduras under the Fincas Ruland brand.

Given the success, Angie and her family opened a specialty coffee cafe in her hometown, offer the high-quality coffee drink product to the final consumer, making a complete seed to cup journey transformation.

A journalist by training and encouraged by her entrepreneur drive, Dennise started her digital career in the her early 20’s in the field of digital marketplace and media.

Since then, Dennise has been specializing in online retail and digital growth for 15+years for upcoming and house known brands. Her experiences spanned across e-commerce operations, digital analytics, digital marketing, and digital transformation. In which, she has delivered $40M+ impact and been recognized as a cultural change catalyst among many organizations.

Bram De Hoog

Bram is a seasoned coffee professional boasting over a decade of experience within the industry. His expertise lies in supply chain management and the intricate art of green coffee procurement. Throughout his career, Bram has seamlessly transitioned across various pivotal roles. From mastering the art of coffee as a barista to collaborating with a prominent specialty coffee exporter in Nicaragua, his journey culminated in the position of Green Coffee Buyer at Ally Coffee—a leading global importer of specialty coffee.

His extensive portfolio includes successful purchases and collaborations with clients across most specialty markets. He is running a roastery funded and owned by a collective of coffee farmers worldwide.

Belen Rivadeneira

Consultant

Belen’s shared passion for corporate sustainability and agribusiness competitiveness prompted her to start her career in specialty coffee and cocoa.

Recognized for her field-based experience working with 240+ community members and businesses within a global supply chain to support certifications, social development projects, and drive the sustainable development of two of the world’s largest commodities.

She brings her decade of Fairtrade standards compliance program management experience to her current role at VUNA, where she is dedicated to educating and inspiring coffee producers to become better partners at origin.

Cristina Ruiz

Consultant/Vuna Coffee School Coach

Cristina is a senior international development professional with extensive experience ranging multiple value chains, including coffee, cocoa and nuts. She is committed to connect coffee growers with global markets, unlocking the power of trade to alleviate poverty and empower people along the value chain. Cristina supports VUNA in the design and execution of multiple projects with a particular focus on sustainability, inclusive business practices and gender-sensitive strategies. Originally from Spain, Cristina has lived and worked in different places in Africa.

Winnie Yeh

Consultant / Vuna Coffee School Coach

Born and raised in Taiwan, Winnie started her coffee journey in Shanghai in 2014. Her previous experience includes working as an assistant trainer, head barista, and the head of coffee academy/ R&D manager in one of the biggest roasters in China.

Over her career, she has conducted 150+ courses in basic coffee knowledge, sensory, brewing skill, barista skills, and latte art for 2000+ people. She has also created coffee blends & beverages for clients which were valued at an annual revenue of over 100K euros.

Winnie has a master’s degree in Coffee Economics and Science – Ernesto Illy. She is also a SCA Authorized SCA trainer and CQI Q Arabica Grader.
